If Eclipse itself is creating FreeBSD distributions, it would be easy.
But currently they don't do that. And since they don't, there's no SWT
native binaries for FreeBSD... which would be required. Building an
unsupported arch is very hard. Maybe your FreeBSD machine is faster than
the 28nm ARM chips I was trying to do it on years ago, but the
build/error/research/change/retry feedback loop is veeeery slow.

package in the right sidebar there for your system to get a full eclipse
2025-09 build with WOLips and Java preinstalled.
I don't know if anyone has tried these releases yet, so let me know if things
seem broken there. Otherwise, just update with the install site like you always
did before with eclipse.
