Hi Webmaster,

The SXCE / SXDE / Solaris Bug Reporting Interface at:
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bz/ is easy to use
but does not allow the "Original Submitter" (or other "Users") to add
comments to the report. Only Sun
employees can add comments. There does not seem a way to list which
reports you have made or
to easily check on their status (short of using the "Search Tool" to
search for your name - and that
method _misses_ a few reports for some reason).

The OpenSolaris Bug Reporting Interface at:
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/ is quite easy to use.
The Bugzilla system _does_ support the missing features that are my
complaint about the way
reports are handled at http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bz/ If you switched
to Bugzilla there might be
(more) confusion as to which site to submit bugs, also the Bugzilla
"site format" (database) is different

Then I noticed the Interface at: http://bugreport.sun.com/bugreport/
and wonder why the site at
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bz/ is not set up like that. You can view
an example bug report at:
http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6596095 . Same "format" but with
extra features.

Notice the "format" (info that the database presents) is the same as
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bz/ so
it should be easy to move the database from
http://bugs.opensolaris.org/bz/ to the software used at:
http://bugreport.sun.com/bugreport/ .

Could the site http://bugs.opensolaris.org/ use the software at
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/ ?

Thanks,
Rob
