For the urgent need, I've updated the Sun-sponsored links area of
the home page with a link and icon for the 2009 OGB election.
Great, thanks, and thanks to Sun for sponsoring the space, although I
can't help thinking the community might tolerate an election notice on
the page too :-)
I've also drafted a feature spot with further details (that we can
post next week on March 2nd) here:

I like it, but I think the information in that feature spot needs to
appear on the front page straight away. I suggest it become a "special
feature" in addition to the current feature spot.
