So, can the ARC community confirm that they'd be OK with us deleting the existing caselog subtree of their area of the site? Then we could remove the redirect and all the remaining ARC pages could be made available. When the new archive becomes available, it can then be linked to from the existing ARC pages.

Just so I understand correctly, you're asking the ARC "community" if they'd be OK with getting some of their site back vs. none?

As near as I can tell, the core contributors, whom are all internal folks by definition, still have internal mechanisms to get at materials and conduct business. It's the external folks that have been _completely_ cut off from effectively contributing[1]. As an external contributor who has no membership nor voting status in any quorum community, I can only call upon your good nature to restore as much of the site as is possible without jeopardizing the rest of the portal. Please consider my +.1.

I will also humbly ask that the website community please, please, please involve the community before rendering such sweeping changes in the future. [1] I suspect this still affects project work within Sun, regardless, and if true, is costing someone, somewhere $ > 0.
