Hi Folks,
I've had the problem where I cannot run a "pkg fix" to the
pkg.opensolaris.org/release repository for about the last week. I've
been trying to do a pkg fix as part of the workaround for bug #8409 -
http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=8409 So that I an
installation fully up to date.
Typically I see the error message
pkg: Maximum number of network retries exceeded during download. Details
follow:
Transfer from 'http://ipkg.sfbay.sun.com/release' failed: Read error on
tar stream. (happened 4 times)
What's odd is I can do a pkg image-upgrade and it will download new
versions of the updated packages (just won't install them because of bug
8409).
Any ideas on where the problem is and when it will be fixed?
