Hi, I have a couple suggestions for http://opensolaris.org/os/projects/posting_instr/.
> License Documentation > > Wherever information available for download is referenced, > licensing information must be posted and/or referenced so > applicable licenses can be evaluated prior to downloading > anything. This usually means at least two places: the page that > points to information available for download, and the page that > contains the information that can be downloaded. I'm not sure I understand the last sentence. I think "the page that points to information available for download" would be something like a project page, and "the page that contains the information that can be downloaded" would be something like a page on dlc.sun.com, but I'm not sure. Also, if the thing to be downloaded is small enough, it will just be on the project page, not dlc.sun.com. So, could we clarify the wording, maybe give an example or two? The example that's provided appears to be sample text; maybe we could call it that instead of "Example"? > Bug Categories/Subcategorires > > When a project is moved from inside the Sun firewall to > opensolaris.org, associated bug database categories/subcategories > need to be made available via bugs.opensolaris.org. Sun engineers > are responsible for reviewing all bug database > categories/subcategories to prepare them for availability. Is there a writeup that we can point people at that says what they should be looking for when they do this review? If not, I think there should be one. And we should provide an easy way for internal folks to get at it. (Post it on the internal wiki if it's sensitive, here if it's not.) cheers, mike _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected]
