I'm wondering what kind of statistics, if any, are available for
counting downloads of files posted up on opensolaris.org.
I'm specifically interested in tracking usage for possible test drivers
that I might post there -- e.g. for some less popular audio hardware.
If I see that folks are downloading the bits, that will help me decide
whether or not I should pursue getting them integrated into ON proper.
(On the other hand, if nobody pulls down a driver -- say for CS4281
sound hardware), then that will tell me that I probably ought to
consider not integrating the driver.
Of course, if this kind of information isn't available to me, then I'll
just have to guess, and I might well guess poorly.
