Hi Gang -
We used TML on a lot of pages and things still don't seem to be
migrated quite right.
For example on this page:
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/security/
you can see we haev our various projects listed in a hierarchical
form, using indentation, but that indentation totally disappeared on
hub:
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+security/
Honestly, for formatting breaks that are this minor at this late date, the
fix is much faster in XWiki. I am not sure about a fix in TML for indents
such as this, but that formatting is so easy that you could probably do it
more efficiently in simple HTML and then it would get converted to XWiki
markup at migration. But then again, we only have one more migration left
(Friday) and then we are scheduled to move on Monday.
Not a problem - I just wasn't sure if this was a "known issue"
that had a simple workaround I could put into place. You're right,
this should be very easy to fix on xwiki once that goes live.
did we do something wrong in the TML that we can fix? I couldn't find this
in the FAQ, but may have missed it. (I see that html bulleted lists don't
migrate correctly, perhaps the "content_preparations" page needs to just
say "bulleted lists won't migrate correctly")
Also, our "Endorsed Projects" link is gone. I recall something about
this in one of the transition meetings, but couldn't find anything
in the documents. Any guidance appreciated. I'm sure we'll find
more things over the next few days. Thank you for your help!
Yes, this is known. We have an early implementation of the various
relationships coming to Auth, such as CG-P endorsements, C/CC lists, etc.
More work needs to be done on these screens, though. Also, we need to enable
XWiki to see this info as well.
Glad to see it's coming. Thank you!
Valerie
