The default web page included with Firefox on OpenSolaris distro
releases includes a link to http://www.opensolaris.org/participate.html
for people who want to learn how to contribute to OpenSolaris.

Unfortunately, a bunch of the links there are out of date - can
they be cleaned up before the 2010.03 release?

Things I see:

   - most of the links use pre-hub-migration URL's

   - the Innovation Awards are now over (though the web page linked
to really should be updated from "Winners Will Be Announced
September 17" since that was over a year ago)

   - the "how to contribute" link bounces to the main page

   - the "portal project" link takes you to a page that says it's
     no longer active.

The nav bar on the top right of that page links through to some other
special purpose pages on www.opensolaris.org that have similar problems,
including:

   - http://www.opensolaris.org/learn.html:

        - The "Getting Started with OpenSolaris OS" link still points to
the 2008.05 version of the docs.

        - The SXCE description is wrong, since it says SXCE is the
same as ON (ON is only about 15-20% of SXCE), but that's okay,
since this whole section should be purged by the end of
the month with the shutdown of SXCE.

        - Another SXCE reference to purge.

        - The "clone the repositories" link seems to go to a limited form
browser, with no instructions how to clone the repos.

        - The "Nevada" link should be renamed to "ON" since it goes to the
          ON community page.

        - The OpenGrok description seems weird in that it lists SCCS, RCS,
and CVS, but none of those are supported on src.opensolaris.org,
only svn & hg, which aren't listed.

        - The "Immigrants" community is no more (merged into Advocacy I
think), so that link should be dropped.

        - The blogs link is broken due to the current lack of blog
aggregator support in hub - should that point to planet.os.o
until the new aggregator is online?

        - The "Current Documentation" and "Big Doc List" links under
"Information Hubs" on the right sidebar redirects to the main
page, as does "New to Opensolaris" in the "Learning Materials"
           sidebar.

        - None of the links in the "Connections" right sidebar are good:
          - "User Groups" bounces to the main page
          - "Universities" goes to a 'This space is no longer active.' page
          - "Countries" goes to the 'The Country Portal Project is no
                longer active.' page
