I was going to file a bug on defect.os.o so it doesn't get lost,
but I don't see a website subcategory for content, only the software
itself.

 - Under "Building OpenSolaris", just above "OpenSolaris Consolidations"
   it says:

To build OpenSolaris from the source, you first need to install
a suitable OpenSolaris distribution, which at this time is
limited to the Solaris Express Community Release (above).

(Doubly out of date, from before the SXCR->SXCE rename) Should probably
be "limited to the OpenSolaris Developer Builds" for now, since building
recent source versions requires post-2009.06 builds.

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Main/get

 - Under "Building from Sources":

To build OpenSolaris from the source, you first need to install a
suitable OpenSolaris distribution, which at this time is limited
to the Solaris Express Community Edition.

(Same comment as before about changing to Developer Builds.)

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/downloads/on

 - Under Step 3a, with link list repeated under Step 3b:

A system installed with a suitable OpenSolaris distribution,
which at this time is limited to Solaris Express: Community Release:

        * DVD Version [link to SXCE b125 DVD]
        * List of known issues [link to SXCE issues page]

... minimum build of Solaris Express, Community Edition
required to build ON from source.

... GCC Compiler found in Solaris Express, Community Edition
        build 22 or later.

(Same comment as before about changing to Developer Builds. Also, the
mentions of BFU Archives here will be obsolete very very soon, due to
ON's transition to native IPS builds.)

 - Seems to be a duplicate of http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/downloads/on

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Main/solex_cr_known_issues

  - "There are no known issues with installing SXCE."

Lack of downloadable images is a major known issue
        preventing installation. 8-)

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Main/general_faq

  - "What is OpenSolaris?" subsection for SXCE:
"NOTE: This release will be discontinued shortly."

  - "Will this OpenSolaris Operating System replace
        Solaris Express Community edition?" section:

"Sun will discontinue Solaris Express Community Edition in
the near future, but until that occurs OpenSolaris developers
can still access the unsupported builds on the downloads page."
