greeting to you all. i am jonathan casuncad from neotitans tech. corp. we are a
really new internet startup based here in the philippines and we are trying to explore
the potential of taking in outsourced web design and development jobs from other
countries. would you guys help me out by telling me how much the going rate is in the
U.S. for web design and development? we have quite a competent team of programmers
and web developers and a pool of fine arts graduates to help us conceptualize web
sites and come out with good designs. we are still quite new to the business though.
we are actually still designing our own website but nevertheless, we are already
trying to assess our chances of penetrating the global web design and development
business since we have a few advantages over american based design and development
companies.
1. we can definitely charge a whole lot less for jobs we take in since the $ is
trading at around 49 times higher than our own currency the philippine peso.
2. we have not just programmers and developers to work on projects but a pool of
artists as well to make the sites that we would design aethetically pleasing.
hopefully, we would enough edge to get good contracts and make an impact in the
industry.
