I hate to be a pain about this, but, is there anyone who will look into
trying to fix this? If we are having trouble fixing the problems, could
we try to involve the devs at WikiMedia. We have enough people
contributing to the wiki pages to act as testers for any debugging.

I know that you are all busy (especially with the continuous spamming
problems). I would try to help but I am not a programmer.

It has really slowed down my contribution to the wiki pages (marketing
specifically).

can anyone confirm this issue? I don't have it... :/

I've created a test page: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/index.php?title=Marketing/DeleteMeLater

* I used the Rich text to enter some data (Title2 with some data) and then saved the page -- everything OK

* I returned in edit, disabled the Rich text editor to insert the language "bar" header and saved -- everything OK

=========================
Language header script added:

<p><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template"><span class="fck_mw_template">{{Lang|Slogans LibreOffice}}</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><br />

</p>

=========================

* I returned to edit using the Rich text editor entered additional data saved the page but then the language "bar" header was corrupted and displayed the following:

=========================
Corrupted lines:

<img _fck_mw_template="true" _fckrealelement="6" _fckfakelement="true" src="http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/extensions/FCKeditor/fckeditor/editor/images/spacer.gif"; class="FCK__MWTemplate">

=========================

Usually at this point, the editor becomes erratic and has (in the past) deleted all the data on the page except for the corrupted lines. I have been using the Rich text editor from the very start and while we had problems with it at the start, they were soon resolved. These new problems seem to have started 3-4 weeks ago. I was away for part of those week, in surgery.

Feel free to reproduce on the wiki page I created.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Marc
