Hello,

there are two more wiki antispam measures which, so far, I did *not* enable, but I'd like to ask all of you to have a look in the future whether they make sense.

The wiki can ask for a captcha, even for registered users, when an external URL is added to a page.

The wiki can also ask for a captcha, whenever a new page is created. This does not affect editing of existing pages, but the creation of new pages, which is what spammers often do.

Both functions are disabled at the moment, but please let me know if the spam problem does not get better with the new wiki, then I'll enable them.

Florian

The new measures have borked Wiki to some extent. Whenever I try to do a change (even when I'm logged in), I'm seeing two annoying things:

1. Asks me to do a math problem -- seems weird that when I'm logged in I'd be forced to do this

then

2. Telling me I have to do an edit summary (no clue what that is), if I don't I get this error *Reminder:* You have not provided an edit summary. If you click "Save page" again, your edit will be saved without one.

But when I push save again it comes up with an error and brings me back to step 1 (asking for a math problem).

Is this related to the above stuff mentioned? Thanks in advance, I can't do any wiki edits as of now

Regards,
Joel
