Hi :) All looks fine to me! :) I am not on the websites list so please CC me in on replies to this mail.
There are a couple of pages i feel quite guilty about. Not sure if you can change who the pages are attributed to as original author. http://wikitest.documentfoundation.org/Faq/Java "V Stuart Foote" wrote the contents. I think i copy&pasted one of his emails into the blank page after creating it but really my name shouldn't be at the bottom of that page. Also the page http://wikitest.documentfoundation.org/Documentation/UserProfile should really be attributed to "Hagar Delest" as i just copy&pasted his page from the OOo forums. Hagar checked it and was happy with it. I think he suggested a couple of changes which i made. There is another fairly similar page http://wikitest.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile which i have been thinking of merging but each has info that is not on the other and seems to be for a slightly different readership. The one in documentation is often given to people on the Users List. The second one seem to be for more advanced users. So, maybe it would be best to merge the 2 pages and at the bottom where it says "Based on work by Rainer Bielefeld and Korrawit Pruegsanusak and others." Just add "Hagar Delest"s name. I've copied all articles, users and most configuration settings, and enhanced them, based on the recent MediaWiki version. What is currently missing: - multiple languages - caching (thus it might be slow) - autopromoting/autoconfirming (spam protection) - WYSIWYG editor (there exists none) I've also enhanced spam protection, but that might trigger false alerts. So, what I'd like as feedback from you now is: - bugs and problems - feature and extension requirements - proposals on what to change Please check your favorite page if it renders allright, please check if all the functions work, and if any of the newly-introduced limitations for spam protection interrupt with your productive work and of course, let me know, what functionality you are missing, since now is the best time to include it. One word of warning, I can't emphasize that enough: This wiki is for TESTING PURPOSES only. Users, articles and settings - in other words: ANYTHING - created here WILL be deleted when the testing is over. There are NO backups. Content WILL break. Do NOT use this wiki for anything productive. So, after you've read all those warnings :) here you get the URL for testing: http://wikitest.documentfoundation.org Please direct feedback to website@global.libreoffice.org Thanks a lot for your support, and looking forward to migrationg to the new wiki soon, Florian -- Florian Effenberger, Chairman of the Board (Vorstandsvorsitzender) Tel: +49 8341 99660880 | Mobile: +49 151 14424108 The Document Foundation, Zimmerstr. 69, 10117 Berlin, Germany Gemeinnützige rechtsfähige Stiftung des bürgerlichen Rechts Legal details: http://www.documentfoundation.org/imprint -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to documentation+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to website+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/website/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
