I've deleted the spam from trac again and this time blocked the ip address:
http://cqcounter.com/whois/?query=123.112.123.171 I'm a little concerned about blocking a /12 network, so I blocked 123.112.0.0/16 with IP tables. Hopefully that won't block any legitimate users from China. I wish I know of a way to force approval before registering an email address with Trac.
