This is a little bit out of my area of expertise, so maybe you can enlighten me
on how the current wording is incorrect.
Currently, on spins.stg.fedoraproject.org (for example), we have :

The locale name seems quite close to what you're expecting, at least for
`zh_Hans_CN` (简体中文).
For `zh_Hant_TW` on the other hand, the local name here is a little bit
different (繁體中文).
Aren't both term equally valid ?

All locale names are coming from an external library (langtable), which in
turn, use the [unicode CLDR charts](http://cldr.unicode.org/index/charts)
