Hi Sriram ,

Yes that's what I thought as well .But the bug submitter thinks it 
otherwise .
I would like to start a discussion on this thread to know if we really 
need to have -R /usr/mysql/5.0/lib/mysql in place for other programs to 
use them .

Appreciate others comments on this issue as well.
