 Why do you think, we should NOT add new interfaces to apachectl  so 
that it reflects more to the Solaris platform ?  We do patch other 
scripts / files so that it integrates well into Solaris. So, why not 
apachectl ? Has this been discussed in apache httpd forums on the pros 
and cons ? If not , should we get their opinion ?
