hi, Any idea if theres going to be a forum or just a mailing list?
I like the idea of having of two versions of things like apache, php etc as it allows for two levels of support. The stuff in solaris can be behind but well tested. The web stack can be much closer to the bleading edge and come with extra options that the average user would not want. Thinks like the subversion module for apache as we do development works and http is our only option for access, this sort of module would be useful for developers but not for people just doing web deployments. So i see there is room for two web stack projects, normal people and crazy people (thats us). I also think that it should be packaged in pkg or something, just makes things easier if Solaris ever gets some sort of network package repository (see every linux etc...) Any idea if this group is growing? its been a bit quiet.
