I haven't researched mod_jk so I can't say for certain. If the project
really intends to make incompatible 1.2.x releases then it might have
to be. OTOH perhaps that disclaimer is only reserved for truly extreme
situations and barring a major vulnerability there won't be any
incompatible change?
