I don't know if this has an effect on this case but a notice: The pear packages distributed with this version seems to have some problems: - $PREFIX/bin/pear is supposed to refer to $PREFIX/bin/php but seems to always depend on /usr/local/bin/php which might not exist. - Installing packages can fail with different PHP Warnings. Some related PHP Bugs: #48650, #48603, and a few more.
