Subject: RE: [Webtest] How to set loglevel for webtest.sh on command-line?

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for the response.

>the command line should probably look like:

Yeah, that was my assumption too.
It also was the first thing I tried.
...and it was the first trial (of a couple of trials) that simply didn't change
anything in the behaviour on stdout.
That's why I am getting a bit, ehh... slightly frustrated.

Thanks a lot anyway,

Thomas Klein

I didn't try the log4j properties yet but did so with other properties.
Send these along with the webtest call:
 webtest.sh -f build.xml -Dsome_property=some_value

In the log4j.properties there is a sample as you found out already.
The ANT_OPTS must go in your build xml. To set the loglevel on ERROR
the command line should probably look like:
 webtest.sh -f build.xml -DlogLevel.root=error

INFO is the default log level (in my case) so I would ommit it in the
call.

Hope it works as described as above,
maybe also try:
 webtest.sh -f build.xml -DlogLevel.httpclientWire=error
-DlogLevel.htmlunit=error
as suggested in the log4j.proerties
