Hello, I am having problems trying to perform a cloneNode operation on an xmlDocument node where it cannot find the script object associated with the document node in Webtest.
This operation works fine when running the _javascript_ code directly on the browser. I only get the error when running via WebTest.
i.e.
oResponseDom = fxXmlDom.createDocument(); oResponseDom.async = false;oResponseDom.loadXML(oXmlHttp.responseText);
oXmlDom = fxXmlDom.createDocument(); oXmlDom.async = false;
oXmlDom = oResponseDom.cloneNode(true);
I tried to change the above to use :
oXmlDom = oResponseDom.documentElement.cloneNode(true);
but this did not give me all the required information from the original xmldocument.
I noticed from the DOM documentation that cloneNode is only supported on a document node in IE and Firefox but I am getting a failure on both of these browsers.
Is this a limitation in Webtest or is there another way around this?
Thankyou,
Kind regards
