Hi,
  what does your web application pages look like ? Is there some frames,
popups,... ? Check also the browser in <config.../> element, sometimes the
behaviour of webapps depends on it.

You could test what your webtest process 'sees' by putting a

<config ... *saveresponse="true"*.../>

you could then check what your web pages 'really' look like to your Webtest
browser.
