Category: WebKit Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Ken Lalonde (kenlalonde) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Handle "bad marshal data" a little better Initial Comment: A common error made by new webkit users is to point a browser at the webkit appserver, rather than apache. This causes the mysterious "bad marshal data" stack traceback. The attached patch (to ThreadedAppServer.py) detects attempts to speak HTTP to the appserver, and returns a more sensible message. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=304866&aid=690343&group_id=4866 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SlickEdit Inc.
