I understand your frustration. 0.9 has really been delayed too much.

I'm still aiming at Nov 12 for the final release. I won't touch the source except for real issues. So far only two minor problems have been reported which have been fixed already. So I don't think we need a rc2. And the release procedure notes/scripts have been updated, so it will not be so difficult any more to let a 0.9.1 follow very quickly. I assume when final 0.9 is out, more people will install Webware and more problems will be found anyway. Also, there are a couple bugs/feature requests still open in the SF bug tracker. We can leave that for 0.9.1.

BTW, it would be good to write a small press release article for announcing Webware 0.9. Can you do that? I think we need to make a little bit marketing/propaganda so people will be aware that Webware is still alive. It may not be the latest hype, but it is a well proven platform-independent framwork. It has been said that Webware is difficult to install and use for beginners, but even that has improved, there are more and better docs, some stumbling blocks have been removed and you can immediately play with the built-in HTTP server.
