The other question is, how much do you need MiddleKit?  I think you said
you have a working Python/MySQLdb version already.  (Or was that somebody
else?)  There's no law against using that with WebKit.  Make it a
standalone module with a few interface functions for your servlets to
call.  You can always convert it to MiddleKit later when/if you have a
specific need for MiddleKit's features.
