As many have pointed out, a regression test is number one. I think it's 
the only true, hard requirement. Sounds like Tavis has a start on this.

He mentioned the need to feed config settings in. There is no reason 
that MiscUtils.Configurable or a WebKit.Configurable (that overrides 
it) couldn't be augmented for this. All settings go through  the 
self.setting() call, thereby giving us the ability to intercept.
