I am enjoying the responses from Geoffrey Talvola, Patrick Giagnocavo, Jay
Love, Ian Bicking.
I guess I misunderstood how to respond to Ian's original response to my
original post, so I began a conversation with him rather than with the
list. With this post I correct that error.
By some unknown magic it is now working! All I could get before was "page
not found". Now I get the WebKit Examples page!
When I read the high-level description of WebWare I saw the term "servelet"
and mis-read it as "applet". What I'm most interested in is tools for
building the web client side of an application: goals being (ideally) thin
client and use of socket communication to update parts of pages in place.
Do you know of such?
Also how does WebWare compare to ZOPE and Cold Fusion?
