I did a version of this a while back, it's in a branch in CVS as well.  I
can't remember the name of the branch off the top of my head.  You might
want to take a look and see if therer's anything you can use in there.  It
was completely finished, there just didn't seem to be much interest in it at
the time so I didn't push for integration.

I forgot to add, I haven't added any configuration yet, and the HTTP
server is hardcoded to port 8080 (in NewThreadedAppServer).
