I'm definitely going to PyCon, and I'd definitely be there for a sprint
if it happened.  There's a ton of stuff that would probably be good
sprint material -- a user management and security framework for
instance.  

I don't know how many of the most active developers will at PyCon or
available before it (?).  But then, I get the impression one of the
ideas behind a sprint is for people who haven't been as involved to give
it a go.
