Is the real problem that you are losing ?arg=... ?

The problem seems to be in URLParser. Here are some test URLs I've run, and the results:

For a servlet named "Index.py" in a context named "Test":

1. http://my.url.net/Test
   --> Resolves ok, to Test/Index.py

2. http://my.url.net/Test/
   --> Resolves ok, to Test/Index.py

3. http://my.url.net/Test/Index
   --> Resolves ok, to Test/Index.py

4. http://my.url.net/Test/Index.py
   --> Incorrectly resolves to Test/Index.py.py
       Error is:
       OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
       /home/webware/beta/Contexts/Test/Index.py.py'

5. http://my.url.net/Test/Index?myvar=stuff
   --> Resolves ok, to Test/Index.py, field available in request object

6. http://my.url.net/Test/Index.py?myvar=stuff
   --> Same problem as 4

7. http://my.url.net/Test?myvar=stuff
   --> Resolves to Test/Index.py, but field is lost

8. http://my.url.net/Test/?myvar=stuff
   --> Resolves to Test/Index.py, field available

9. http://my.url.net/Test/Index.?myvar=stuff
   --> Resolves to Test/Index.py, field available

(7) is causing my problem because the earlier versions of WebKit, and but the error message is misleading.

...Edmund.
