Remember that Apache can always be installed from source in almost any
location by specifying the prefix before doing configure, make, make
install. You won't need to be root to do this, nor will you need root
privileges to install mod_webkit within that Apache installation. For
testing/development purposes, there's nothing wrong with this solution at
all.
