Sounds like a good idea to have extra attribute for property tag that controls encoding. Just like Philipp suggested. It could do encoding into HTML by default but there are other languages as well. If you are more familiar with WML, please speak now and say if it needs different encoding? Would it make sense to make it pluggable so that different encoding methods could be used by different users?
