Why?

Why not just do something like:

<ui:textfield scheme="myscheme" ...>
    <ui:param name="cssclass">my class</ui:param>
</ui:textfield>

Then you can have different CSS classes on each page, and we don't need to
corrupt the tag library as is.

The templates given are _examples_, not production code - in almost every
situation they need to be modified IMHO.
