Marcallee, yes there are some intermediaries that are doing just that. I'm currently doing trading partner testing with Trailblazers and PalmettoGBA and they are rejecting the entire 837 if it contains any errors in any claim. I have a bunch of code tweaking to do as in each test batch of 20-50 claims, there will slip a bad birthdate, missing relationship code or referring physician first and stuff like that. The syntax seems to get through OK, but I need to make the input end on my side more robust for data checking.
