Currently, we are not required to use HCPCS codes with revenue codes 250 and 270. In the 837I Implementation Guide, it states that HCPCS coding is required on all outpatient claims.
Does anyone know if HCPCS codes are truly required for revenue codes 250 and 270 on outpatient claims?
