Another suggestion: (Perhaps for a quick white paper)

Appropriate staffing levels for HIPAA TCS Testing Activity.

While there's no easy answer to this, given the variety of covered entities
and business associates, it may be a good idea to focus on providers -
categorize them and come up with consensus re: staffing benchmarks - my
strong impression is that providers need an outside authority that they can
turn to to justify staff allocation for TCS testing, and we can probably
provide that pretty quickly - Project plan would be 4 1-hr calls before the
March meeting, to draft a document. At March meeting, do a Workshop where
draft is reviewed and input gotten from the audience. After workshop,
integrate workshop audience feedback, and publish on WEDI site.

If there's interest in this, John, I can facilitate this, though I may not
be able to make it to Chicago. Also, another standing meeting keeps me from
the Thurs 9-11ET calls, but if we can get a temporary call-in number for
Thurs afternoons, I'd be happy to help "knock this out". - Cynthia
