Details:
I'd like scripts to be able to manipulate just about any aspect of Weechat,
but for the time being, I'd settle for the ability to call the key commands.

Would be nice if keyboard handlers could alter the input line, but that could
be worked around by the ability to use delete_line and then insert ("type") a
string.
