Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19395 (project weechat):
WeeChat now sends UTF-8 by default (since 0.2.3). If on some servers (or
everywhere) you want to use other charset, use these commands :
for global: /setp charset.global.encode = ISO-8859-15
for a server (on server buffer): /charset encode ISO-8859-15
If this fixes problem, I'll close this bug.
