Details:
I am using bitlbee with weechat, which is a multi-protocol IM client,
accessible from IRC clients.
It has an uncommon way of providing the nicknames of contacts, which is the
following:
Contacts get into the contact list based on their e-mails 1st part (at least
in MSN and GTalk), their host equals to their e-mail address, and their nick
is the "real name on the server".
It would be useful to have weechat display the real name in the titlebar
(next to the host, separated with a @ or &, etc OR aligned to the right),
since this way I don't have to execute /whois every time I'm wondering what
the contact's nickname on MSN/GTalk is.
Example, a /whois command's result on the infamous Spleak bot on MSN:
0958|50| [EMAIL PROTECTED] [bitlbee] [spleak] ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): - Spleak -
ROTFL...
check out my jokes! :) Type "jokes".
0958|50| [EMAIL PROTECTED] [bitlbee] [spleak] [EMAIL PROTECTED] (msn network)
0958|50| [EMAIL PROTECTED] [bitlbee] [spleak] End of /WHOIS list
"spleak" is the name the contact appears on my list
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is the host (and the e-mail address)
"Spleak - ROTFL..." is the nickname of the contact.
