Follow-up Comment #1, task #6661 (project weechat):
Created a patch to do this, which is built on 0.27 dev build.
Fairly minor changes:
Added a new config option "look_highlight_entire_line" which defaults to
"OFF".
Set to "ON" and it will highlight the entire line (action or normal channel
message).
Set to "OFF" and it will only highlight the nick as before.
It uses the color set in col_chat_highlight
I will attach the patch below...
