Details:

problem with Ctrl-R: I'm searching for a word as part of a dialog, but I want
to read the whole thing. When I escape out of the search mode, I'm dropped
back in the buffer where I left off, not where I stopped the search. Then I
have search again just to check what the timestamp was so I can scroll back
and find the place in the buffer. Tedious.

[08:01] @FlashCode> ok I understand
[08:01] @FlashCode> what would you expect? always quit search and stay on
screen displayed, or make it optional ? (that means for example 2 different
keys to exit search)
[08:04] eydaimon> two different keys to exit search

NOTE: if the split scrollbar is done as per this feature
https://savannah.nongnu.org/task/index.php?8813
instructions can be written on that line.
