Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25559 (project weechat):
This bug only occurs when the option:
weechat.completion.partial_completion_nick = on (which is the default
setting)
and what it seems to do is that when there are multiple nicks that fit what
you've entered, it works normally (except has bug #25556), but when a certain
nick is partially completed (but no other nicks would match that string, only
one), the bug occurs.
