Follow-up Comment #1:
I tried "/ignore c|ppp", it adds to ignore list: "c|ppp", that's normal
behaviour. The "" is automatically added by WeeChat to escape the "|", which
has special signification in regex. So it ignores nick "c|ppp", which is what
you want to do (that means you must not use "\").
