Hi,
Please give exact version of jabber.py script, and most important thing,
please use and report bug for latest WeeChat stable version (currently 0.3.3).
Old versions like 0.3.0 are not maintained any more.
Please tell me if you have same problem with 0.3.3.
(you can find packages of 0.3.3 for ubuntu on weechat.org)
