Hi,
I can reproduce this bug with a test server I'm currently writing (weercd.py,
which floods client with many messages in a short time).
With minbif_typing_notice.rb loaded, it crashes after some seconds of flood.
For now, I have no idea why it crashes (it's in ruby stuff), I'll look at
problem and keep you informed of my investigations.
If you ever want to test with this flood server, let me know I'll send you by
mail (not publicly available yet, it's under dev).
