Follow-up Comment #4, bug #25555 (project weechat):
I just added a new option for version 0.3.7, to restore old behaviour:
"weechat.look.scroll_bottom_after_switch".
If this boolean is set to "on", then scroll position in windows is not saved
(old behaviour). It is "off" by default (new behaviour: save scroll position
in windows).
Note that this option applies only when switching to a buffer with formatted
content (buffers with free content are never scrolled to bottom).
