I noticed that Weechat is not comaptible with Lua 5.2 at all, so I made a few patches to change that. It provides full compatibility up to the current Lua 5.2.1 removing all dependencies on deprecated functions without breaking any existing functionality. Tested on Weechat v0.3.8 and v0.3.9-dev from June 20.
