My cloud server gets an image every minute, overlays the time/date and then also pushes to Weather underground. Every 5 minutes the 'last hour' movie is made. Every hour the 'last hour' video is archived. At 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm and 9pm the 'From Sunrise' video is made, which is also archived at 9pm. Videos made using the now free MovieSalsa, which has Sunrise to Sunset mode for the FromSunrise videos. http://www.imagesalsa.com/MovieSalsa/. MovieSalsa spits out an AVI. Then ffmpeg makes the MP4. (TODO: Do all with PowerShell and FFMEG). Powershell used as scripting glue for the above.
